INTRODUCTION

Kapangyarihan is a 3D story-based rogue-like first-person shooter video game with a Philippine Mythology and Folklore inspired theme developed with the Unity engine.

Kapangyarihan dives into the world of Philippine mythos and folklore where you can explore its world, interact with the mythological inhabitants, and ultimately save it from the Bakunawa who threatens to devour the Buwan.

ABSTRACT
Kapangyarihan, Midnight Makers’ second Capstone project, is a video game with a Rogue-lite First-Person Shooter genre with emphasis on the Elements inspired by Philippine Mythology and Folklore. This project aims to develop a game that creates a unique Elemental Synergies/Reactions System integrated into the genre of Rogue-lite First-Person Shooters that also touches on inspirations from Philippine Mythology and Folklore.
